George Clooney Hits Back at Russell Crowe

The ever-controversial Russell Crowe has caused a bit of a storm in a teacup by criticizing actors who make money by appearing in commercials.
Crow had said that he did not believe in using his celebrity to make a living and criticized actors like George Clooney, Harrison Ford and Robert De Niro who have all appeared in foreign adverts. Saying "it's a complete contradiction of the social contract you have with your audience."
Earlier in the week it was reported this caused an argument with Crowe and longtime friend Nicole Kidman and now George Clooney has hit back saying Crowe promoted his band "20 Odd Foot Grunts" using that very celebrity power.
He said: "I'm glad he set us straight. Because Harrison, Bob and I were putting a band together called Grunting For 30 Feet, and that would also fall under the heading of 'bad use of celebrity'. Thanks for the heads up."

I agree. Russell WHO? He's a loser and always has been. Clooney is way cooler, way smarter, and way more important of a celebrity than Crowe, who sucks.
Russell Crowe must not like himself very much. Only people who are unhappy and insecure would attack their colleagues in that way. He's saying alot more about himself than he is George, Harrison and Robert. George Clooney's comments were kind, he shows he has more class.
Russell Crowe's career is over. He is a complete jerk and bully. He's a very unhappy man who had the world in his hands. He's a fantastic actor but he obviously does not know when to shut the hell up. Career is over, period.
Perhaps he just needs to make soup for a while, until he feels happier...maybe he could market it, later, and feel better about himself. (Do people read these, or am I in trouble, again?)
That crowe is way cooler when he shuts up, and since he doesn't do that much, he should sticks to the script.

Go George! Sorry folks, but Russell Crowe is a boob, a jerk.....who really cares what he thinks? I sure don't! Sorry to be so harsh, but his opinion counts for nothing (in my opinion) :) Kris
