Adidas Get Royal Reprimand

Adidas has been forced to remove its Missy Elliott street wear collection from the Danish high street after the royal court complained the logo was too similar to that used by the Queen.

Various shoes, tops and bags from the hip-hop stars' collection carried the logo and have now been removed from stores.

A spokeswoman form the company said: "We removed it immediately because we didn't mean any harm and any similarities are purely a coincidence."

The palace itself confirmed that they had made a complaint over trademark infringement but declined to comment further.

Meantime Adidas say they have no plans to alter the collection or logo elsewhere in the world.
