bill cosby the fisherman, not bill cosby the actor, did these things. But I wouldn't think twice that Cosby could eb capable of these acts. Ever listen to his old skits about drug use and sexuality and get a sense that he was ready to beat and drug and rape?

I'm a college student and I've grown up with watching Bill Cosby on TV and I think he is innocent and support him 100%. I think there are people out in this world that want money for free and they'd rather tell lies then work hard to get it. Why didn't she tell someone 30 years ago these stories because he wasn't a rich black man back then. I just love Bill Cosby and I think hes a role model to a lot of young people. He has got a lot of supporters.

All of the comments made so far are sadly typical of our 'rape culture' beliefs. Just because a man portrayed a loving family man as an ACTOR in a fabrication of real life on a TV series does NOT mean he is not a power hungry, woman hating masogenist (Cosby could very well be!) who gets his kicks controlling helpless women by drugging them into unconsciousness.
Just because a woman decided not to come forth after being raped soe NOT mean she was not raped - it means victims react in different ways to sexual assault - there is no stereotypical reaction to such a horrendous ordeal. All it means is that she was confused, ashamed, humiliated, disoriented and perhaps suffering from post traumatic stress disorder - and needed time to come to terms with the brutality of what happened...incredible that you are all so positive he did not do it. Do you have any idea what it takes to come forward? No wonder so few rapes are actually reported- no wonder only 4 % of RAPISTS ARE ACTUALLY CONVICTED .Because of people like you - already set in your belief of what is true.
Open your eyes and see the truth - he very likely raped this woman and the other ten that have come forward. NO WOMAN would ever put herself through the ordeal of a trial if it weren't true. False sexual assualt accusations are very, very, very RARE.
God help you if you, your sisters, your mothers , your girlfriends, or your daughters are ever sexually assualted. God help you then.
