Justin Bieber's new bulldog doesn't know about the monkey incident

The terror of Calabasas, Canadian transplant Justin Bieber may be licking some wounds over bad box office for his Belieber doc, but he has a new bulldog puppy to make him feel better.

During his travels to Europe, Justin Bieber ran into some problems in Germany. He had not obtained proper papers to bring his pet capuchin monkey into the country, so the monkey was put into quarantine. He subsequently left the monkey to the Germans.

So given that Bieber's monkey is speaking German now, a little bulldog has taken his place.  While on his Christmas vacation in Canada, Justin Bieber bought himself a bulldog in a pet store.

According to E! News, Bieber was at the Ruffin's Pet Centre in Stratford, Ontario where he and his family adopted a seven-week year old American bulldog puppy.

Ruffin’s told E! that Bieber and his family have bought pets from them before and are regulars of the store.

Bieber’s dad posted a photo of him and the cute dog sleeping and then tweeted “So were gona let one lucky #belieber name @justinbieber s new puppy.... Follow and find out how it can be you ")” Get your names ready, Beliebers! Bieber also tweeted “Got a new pup”
