Basketball star Michael Jordan and his Cuban-American wife Yvette Prieto, 34, are expecting their first child together.
Us Weekly reports that Jordan, 50, and Prieto married in Palm Beach, Fla., on April 27. The two said "I do" at Episcopal Church of Bethesda-By-The Sea Church with over 300 guests. Their reception was held at the Bear's Club in Jupiter, Fla.Jordan is widely considered as one of the greatest basketball players of all time, he was among the most effectively marketed athletes of his generation and he was instrumental in popularizing the NBA (National Basketball Association) around the world in the 1980s and 1990s.
This will be the first child for the couple of over five years. Jordan has three children from his previous marriage to Juanita Venoy. Venoy snagged a $168 million settlement in her divorce from Jordan plus their seven-acre estate in Chicago,
The couple were married for 17 years before splitting in 2006. They have sons Jeffrey Michael, 24, and Marcus James, 22, and daughter Jasmine, 19, together.
