'Booze hound' Gwyneth Paltrow

Gwyneth Paltrow has turned into a 'booze hound' since moving to England.

The American actress lives in London with her husband Chris Martin and their children Apple, eight and six-year-old Moses and although she tries to eat healthy where possible, she admitted she can't resist a glass of wine and joked it often doesn't stop at just one.

She told The Mail on Sunday's You Magazine: 'I really like a martini or a glass of red wine in the evening. I think it's a really nice way to say, 'OK, it's adult time now.' Having lived in England for so long, I have become a real booze hound. All you guys drink so much, me included. A glass of red wine is excellent for you, but I tend to not stop there.'

Gywneth, 40, also revealed she loves living in London because she and her family are rarely bothered by fans or the press and can enjoy everyday activities such as taking public transport.

She explained: 'We can go on the tube into the centre of London because it's quicker and more fun for the kids. We can do normal things. [Recently] Chris and Moses went to a football match together and Apple and I walked down Hampstead High Street and got an ice cream.'
