Nicholas Hoult's dolphin dream
Mar 3, 2013, 4:01 GMT

Nicholas Hoult
Nicholas Hoult wanted to be a 'dolphin' when he grew up.
The 'X-Men: First Class' actor always thought he had a 'cool' ambition and was disappointed when he realised he would never achieve his dream.
He said: 'I never even thought about being an actor when I was a kid. The thing I really wanted to be was a dolphin.
'I thought that would be the coolest thing and was completely, completely committed to that for some time. Then I realised that you couldn't be an animal when you grew up, so I had to sack it off, unfortunately.'
The 23-year-old star shot to fame when he was just 13 years old, appearing opposite Hugh Grant in 'About A Boy'.
Nicholas has stayed in touch with his older co-star but they don't get to meet up very often, though he is hopeful they will see one another soon.
He told Britain's HELLO! magazine: 'We have some mutual friends and we kind of keep in touch through them.
'I know he's doing very well and hopefully at some point we'll be able to have a catch-up.'
