Jessica Chastain 'very, very happy' with boyfriend

Jessica Chastain's relationship with Gian Luca Passi de Prepusolo makes her 'very happy'.

The 'Zero Dark Thirty' actress has only recently opened up about her romance with the 31-year-old Italian fashion executive but revealed she is thrilled that her career and personal life are both going well.

She told 'Extra': 'I am very, very happy.

'It's a wonderful thing when a career does so well and your personal life goes so well.'

Jessica, 35, recently revealed she doesn't date actors and was thrilled to meet Gian Luca, who works for Moncler, a French clothing company.

She explained: 'I will say I have a rule I don't date actors, so he's not in the business at all. He's in the fashion industry.'

The sultry redhead has also admitted she is shocked to be considered a sex symbol and doesn't see herself as object of desire having been a tomboy as a child.

She said: 'When someone tells me I'm a sex symbol I'm like, 'What?' But I'll take what I can get. That'll teach all those boys back in junior high [school]. In fact, I hope my very first boyfriend, the guy I dated for one month and who broke up with me at the Valentine's Day dance - I hope that boy reads this!'

Although she doesn't think of herself as any man's dream woman, Jessica does enjoy getting flattering comments from the opposite sex.

She explained: 'It's a huge compliment when someone says you're attractive, especially when I was such an awkward kid - I was very tomboyish, with very short red hair, running around with cowboy boots on.'
