Matthew Perry loses cash on Hollywood mansion

Matthew Perry has sold his Hollywood home for over $600,000 less than the asking price.

The former 'Friends' star may have received $4.685,000 for his mansion in the iconic hills, but the sale price comes in at a big loss from the original asking price of $5,295,000 which it was originally listed for in September, Redfin.com states.

In addition to dropping the asking price, Matthew also got $3.95 million less than the $8.65 million he paid for the luxury pad in 2011.

The home was built in 1955 and the interior - which holds three bedrooms and four bathrooms - combines a finish of glass, stone and white marble to give it a sleek feel.

In addition to indoor and outdoor fireplaces, the 4,093 square-foot home boasts a fully equipped gourmet kitchen, modern terraces with wire railings and a screening room.

The new owner will enjoy stunning views of Los Angeles from the master bedroom, which has a sliding glass wall opening onto the garden with a hot tub.

Matthew, 43, currently stars in NBC comedy 'Go On' and is set to be joined by his on-screen wife from 'Friends' Courteney Cox, who will play a potential love interest to Matthew's character Ryan King.

The pair will reunite in an episode airing in April - nearly nine years after their last TV appearance as Chandler and Monica Bing in 2004.

Matthew recently shared his enjoyment at filming with Courtney again, posting on his Twitter: 'Courteney Cox shooting Go On today! She is fantastic, obviously. And my desire to show off in front of her is back in full swing! (sic)'
