Courteney Cox and Matthew Perry to reunite

Courteney Cox and Matthew Perry are to reunite on TV.

The former 'Friends' stars - who played married couple Monica and Chandler Bing in the hit sitcom - are to appear alongside each other once more in a forthcoming episode of Matthew's comedy series 'Go On'.

Courteney will play a potential love interest to Matthew's character Ryan King, a sports talk radio host trying to move on from the death of his wife.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the two characters will be set up on a date in an episode to air in the US in April.

It will be the first TV appearance Courteney and Matthew have made together since Friends ended in 2004 after 10 series.

Despite not playing Chandler for nine years, Matthew recently admitted he gets confused between his own personality and his 'Friends' alter-ego.

Asked if Chandler is still part of his life, he said: 'Yes, he is, but a lot of that is me too, so you have to try to figure out which is which.'

'Friends' also starred Jennifer Aniston, Lisa Kudrow, David Schwimmer and Matt LeBlanc and was one of the world's most watched shows.

Jennifer and Lisa have since appeared in Courteney's TV show 'Cougar Town'.
