Ricki Lake
Ricki Lake's talk show has been axed.
The 44-year-old star's daytime chat show struggled to attract viewers with its blend of self-help and family topics and even though it won't return for a second season, Ricki insists she is proud she had the chance to address the big issues.
She said: 'I am so proud of the shows we completed this season, sparking important conversations about everything from raising children to mental illness to suicide prevention to coming out. I will continue to be an active and passionate voice for subjects that are close to my heart through a variety of platforms.'
Ricki recently revealed she and her husband Christian Evans are planning to move to Ibiza with her sons Milo, 15, and Owen, 11, from a previous marriage to Rob Sussman, as it is where she got engaged and had her honeymoon.
She said: 'We are relocating [to Ibiza] as soon as we possibly can.
'We got engaged there, we went on our honeymoon there - it is our paradise. And the best part is, nobody in the US knows about it, and nobody there even knows me.'
