Miley Cyrus calls Liam Hemsworth her 'hubby'

Miley Cyrus referred to Liam Hemsworth as her 'hubby'.

The 20-year-old singer and actress - who was rumoured to have wed 'The Hunger Games' star over Christmas and was spotted wearing matching wedding rings earlier this month - called the 23-year-old actor her 'hubby' in a new interview and explained he is the main reason for her happiness at the moment.

She said: 'I'll literally look at him and be like 'You are hot, dear god!' The other day, I turned on the pool heater and it was steaming, and he walked outside and took off his clothes and jumped in the pool. I was like, 'I'm gonna faint - the hottest guy of my life is in a steaming pool. This looks like a Playgirl shoot.' So I took a photo and made it the background on my phone. My best friend grabbed my phone and was like, 'Who's that? He is so hot!' [and I replied] 'That's my hubby!''

She also told the March issue of Cosmopolitan magazine that their relationship is the main source of happiness, saying: 'Number one is my relationship with Liam. That's what I feel the most confident in because you never know.'

Miley revealed she has no regrets about causing controversy while growing up in the public eye, through multiple incidents of leaked sexy pictures and those of her smoking a bong, because it has helped her stay true to herself.

She said: 'Some of the worst things that have happened in my career, like things getting leaked, have actually been what's best for me, because people knew when I was on [Hannah Montana] that I was really growing up. I never faked anything.'

Miley previously said that while she is really in love with Liam, they are in no rush to tie the knot.

She previously said: 'I already feel married. I know we are forever. I don't need the paper right now.

'I don't know when we will get married yet. We are still enjoying being engaged. I've got so much planning to do with the tours and getting my record out. First I have my movie, then my record - then I'll do my wedding planning.'
