Jimmy Kimmel has vowed to get revenge on Matt Damon.
The 'We Bought A Zoo' actor tied Jimmy up and took over his late night talk show as part of a long running fake feud between the pair and Jimmy joked that Matt better watch out.
He told Access Hollywood: 'I have escaped and there will be retaliation, I promise you.'
As part of Matt's 'takeover', he appointed Sheryl Crow bandleader, replaced Jimmy's sidekick Guillermo with Andy Garcia, asked Ben Affleck to hold the cue cards and renamed the show 'Jimmy Kimmel Sucks'.
He was also joined by a host of celebrity guests including Reese Witherspoon, Gary Oldman, Amy Adams, Demi Moore and Jimmy's ex girlfriend, Sarah Silverman, who all agreed Matt was a better host.
Jimmy revealed having Matt take over the show has been a long held dream for them both.
He said: 'It's something that we've been working on for a while, and actually, we've been talking about it for a couple of years and it came together nicely.'
