Peter Andre's children are bookworms.

The reality TV star has Princess Tiaamii, five, and seven-year-old Junior with ex-wife Katie Price and while he helps them with their homework, admits they are better behaved than he ever was when it comes to schoolwork.

He said: 'The kids have been with me all week and although I've been on tour, I've been keeping a close eye on their homework.

'When I was a kid, I have to admit I got away with murder and probably didn't do as much as I should have, so I'm not going to let that happen with Princess and Junior. Luckily, my son is a real little bookworm and goes from book to book, while Princess is just starting to catch the reading bug too. I used to love reading to them, but nowadays they actually read to me - it's so cute!'

Peter, 39, added that as a treat he took his kids to the cinema to see 'Life of Pi' but admitted his favourite part were the snacks.

He added: 'It's about a young Indian boy who's the only survivor of a shipwreck and it follows his adventure. It's a little deep in places, but the kids really enjoyed it. Of course, the most important part of any cinema experience is the snacks. I'm a sweet and salty man - I love salted popcorn, followed by chocolate M&M's. Yes, I know - I'm a big kid!'
