Drew Barrymore has a huge 'crush' on her daughter Olive.

The 'Going The Distance' actress is besotted with her four-month-old baby and feels like a nervous schoolgirl whenever she thinks about her because she gets so excited.

Speaking to Oprah Winfrey on 'Oprah's Next Chapter' on Sunday (20.01.13), she said: 'It's like having the worst crush of your life! I drive home with heart palpitations, like, I can't wait to get to her. I think, 'You know, is she gonna call? Will she ask me to spend the night?'

'I wake up every morning ... and it's a newfound joy that I have in the morning hours ... I get to wake her up, and she's so fun and always smiling and doesn't have this history of all these thoughts you wake up with as an adult ... It's just joy!'

The 37-year-old star is married to Will Kopelman - her third husband, who she wed in June 2011 - and she admits she has never felt so confident or desired as when she manages to make him laugh.

Drew confessed: 'I just know that if I make my husband laugh - I think that's why my husband loves me - if I make him laugh, I feel like the most beautiful woman in the world.'

The actress was legally emancipated from her mother, Jaid Barrymore, during her wild teenage years - during which she took drugs and went to rehab - but Drew claims although Jaid didn't attend her wedding, they were able to reach the decision together.

Drew explained: 'She was not there actually, which was really hard. We both discussed it and thought it would be best. We really spoke about it - that's where I feel like a grownup, with my mom.'
