Jamie Lynn Spears could be getting married.

The 21-year-old former TV star - the younger sister of pop star Britney Spears - may be heading down the aisle with her boyfriend of three years, businessman Jamie Watson.

Jamie told the New York Post newspaper: 'I asked her the other night what the hell is taking so long. But she's really particular about her stuff. She's trying to do it right because she knows people will be watching.'

The 'Zoey 101' actress - who reportedly splits her time between her sister's Los Angeles mansion and Nashville, where she is trying to launch a country music career - famously revealed she was pregnant, aged 16, by her boyfriend Casey Aldridge in December 2007. The news sparked controversy and the mother-to-be was accused of 'glorifying teen pregnancy'.

Jamie gave birth to a daughter, Maddie Brianne Aldridge, four, in June 2008 after getting engaged to Casey in March 2008. The couple would later split in March 2009, before reconciling a year later in August 2010, but ended their relationship again in November 2010.

Jamie's potential matrimony comes just one week after her sister Britney, 31, announced she had split from her fiancé of 13 months, Jason Trawick.

Her representative Jeff Raymond said: 'Britney Spears and Jason Trawick have mutually agreed to end their one-year engagement.

'As two mature adults, they came to the difficult decision to go their separate ways while continuing to remain friends.'
