Madonna drops selling price of home

Madonna has dropped the selling price of her Beverly Hills home by more than $5 million.
The 'Girls Gone Wild' singer quietly put her French Country style mansion, purchased in 2003, on the market in March for $28 million but has now dropped the asking price to $22.5 million.
According to property blog Real Estalker, the lavish home was previously only a pocket listing, meaning a real estate agent had a contract to sell it and it was not advertised.
When the 54-year-old 'Hung Up' singer bought the home in the up market Los Angeles area in 2003 it was registered as having three bedrooms and five bathrooms, but new listing information shows that the estate now boasts nine bedrooms, two living rooms, a formal dining room, a home cinema, a huge kitchen, multiple offices, a gym, and an art studio.
Accessed by a 500 foot long gated driveway, the estate also includes two separate guesthouses and sits on 1.14 acres.
A source described the house as 'comfy' and 'surprisingly normal'.
Madonna bought the house when she was still married to her last husband, Guy Ritchie, and they paid around $12 million for it.
Madonna had relocated from London to New York - where she has $32.5million town house on the Upper East Side - after her divorce from Guy in 2008, but has recently spent a lot of time in England, making her directorial debut film, 'W.E.' where she admitted she felt lonely.
She said: 'When you move to a new country there's an anonymity; you can start all over again. That was refreshing when I moved to England, but then there's the feeling of being an outsider, of being lonely, of not having roots, of not quite being understood.'
