Taylor Swift insists she won't reconcile with Harry Styles.

The 'We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together' singer - who is 'miserable' after she dumped the One Direction star last week following a massive argument while on holiday in the British Virgin Islands - has reportedly told friends that their relationship is completely over and there is no chance of them getting back together.

A source close to the 23-year-old country singer told USMagazine.com: 'They had a fight. This (breakup) is definitely going to be for good.'

Taylor is said to have been furious and dumped the 18-year-old British heartthrob after he 'said something he shouldn't have...'

Another source confirmed: 'They are 100 percent over,' explaining that Taylor can be very 'intense'.

Friends close to the former couple - who went public with their romance in early December - previously hinted that they might be able to resolve things, saying: 'Yes I can confirm [Harry and Taylor] have split up. They were on holiday and had an almighty row. They are two young stars at the top of their game so who knows what will happen in the future.'

Harry partied with businessman Sir Richard Branson within hours after splitting up with Taylor.

He wasted no time wallowing over the failed relationship as he was spotted out with Richard - who is the founder and chairman of the Virgin Group, formed of more than 400 companies - at his private resort on Necker Island for a night of partying.

According to an insider, Harry chatted with female fans and lounged in a hot tub until the early hours of the morning, while Taylor was spotted looking glum as she made her way back to the airport alone on Friday (04.01.13) by boat - three days earlier than originally planned.

Eyewitnesses who saw Taylor departing the island alone have revealed she looked miserable.

Mike Zavagno and Jake Hurley told the New York Post's Page Six: 'She looked really sad and lonely, really down.

'We had heard she was down there with Harry Styles from One Direction, but the impression that I got was that they must have had a fight or something because she was just with her bodyguard and I said to Mike, 'She looks really sad.'

'I don't think she was crying. but you could tell that something was visibly wrong. ... She was just sitting there with her hands in her lap, no phone or anything.'
