Kimberley Walsh is hosting a dinner party tonight (31.12.12).
The Girls Aloud star and her partner Justin Scott will see in 2013 by invited their closest friends round to their house, where they will have a civilised dinner and a few drinks.
She said: 'I'm hoping to have a small dinner party for my close friends. A couple of my friends have babies now, so it won't be rock 'n' roll, but I'll see in the new year with some of my favourite people, which is the most important thing.'
However, New Year's Eve hasn't always been a tame evening for Kimberley and admits to a couple being very 'messy'.
She said: 'There have been a few crazy New Year's Eves! Probably my craziest was a few years ago when I went to New York for New Year and it was very messy. Far too many flaming sambucas!'
Kimberley has had a very busy 2012 and says her new year's resolution is to get more rest.
She said: 'I want to try and make time for a bit of a rest! Other than that just the usual - to laugh a lot, spend lots of time with my friends and family and work hard.'
