Britney Spears' paternity hoax

Britney Spears
Britney Spears is at the centre of a paternity hoax.
An impersonator pretending to be her ex brother-in-law Christopher Federline claimed he fathered her eldest son Sean Preston, seven, while seeking a restraining order against the 31-year-old singer, who is currently engaged to Jason Trawick.
Hoaxer Jonathan Lee Riches filed a phony lawsuit pretending to be her ex-husband Kevin Federline's younger brother Christopher.
According to gossip website RadarOnline.com, he filed court documents last Tuesday (18.12.12) against 'The X Factor' USA judge - who divorced former back-up dancer Kevin in 2006 after three years of marriage with whom she shares sons Sean Preston and Jayden James, six, - calling her 'out of control and a maniac' and claiming she belittled his manhood and threatened to go public with the fact he is Sean Preston's real biological father.
He also accused the 'Toxic' singer of recently stealing his Capital One credit card while picking up her sons from Kevin's house after he left it on the table and using it to buy $4,569.02 worth of Archie and Betty Boop comics, and back issues of Mad Magazine for her sons.
According to the documents, he wrote: 'I called the owner of Comic Conquerors, Charles Nunez who told me that Britney Spears is a long-time customer ... and Nunex told me he will not give me a refund.'
He then claims he confronted Britney about using his card, and said she 'laughed at me and told me my brother Kevin ruined her life,' 'told me I have a small penis, she also blackmailed me and told me if I tell the police that she stole my credit card that she will tell the world I'm the true father of Sean Preston, not Kevin.'
He then insists that he slept with Britney and is Sean Preston's 'true father' but said he was seeking a restraining order because 'the public does not need to know.'
A judge dismissed the case just two days after the papers were filed after discovering the real Christopher had nothing to do with the case and it was merely a hoax.
A spokesperson for Britney refused to comment.
