Harry Styles wants to join Taylor Swift in Australia over the festive season.

The 18-year-old One Direction star - who went public with his romance with the 23-year-old country singer earlier this month - is reportedly eager to spend some quality time with her on the beach while she is promoting her new album and vacationing there.

The 'We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together' singer has admitted to Country Weekly magazine that she can't wait to jet off, saying: 'It's gonna be non-stop sun. So it will be weird to have a tan around Christmas but I'm really excited about it.'

Taylor recently opened up her love of Christmas and claimed she still believes in Santa Claus.

Whether the 'I Knew You Were Trouble' singer will be spending this Christmas with Harry or not, she's likely to get a kiss from someone as she hangs mistletoe, a plant which traditionally means two people must share a smooch if they stand underneath it together.

She recently revealed: 'There'll be mistletoe hung at my house.'

Taylor - who has previously dated many famous men including Joe Jonas, Jake Gyllenhaal and John Mayer - has openly revealed she draws inspiration for her songs from her love life and it seems she likes to listen to other people's tracks, which are about romances.

The blonde beauty says her favourite Christmas song is Wham's 'Last Christmas' because it recalls an old romance, which ended badly for those involved.

Asked her favourite festive song, she said: ''Last Christmas'. I like the song because it is about an old relationship.'

Harry's bandmates - Liam Payne, Zayn Malik, Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson - were all spotted arriving in London on Friday (21.12.12) after performing at 'The X Factor' USA final in Los Angeles on Thursday (20.12.12) but the British heartthrob wasn't spotted getting off their plane.
