Marvin Humes wants as many children as possible.

The JLS singer - who recently announced he was expecting his first child with Saturdays singer Rochelle - is over the moon at the prospect of becoming a dad and he said the baby will be the first of many.

He said: 'I'm a family man so I'd like as many kids as possible. We always said that four would be fantastic. But one at a time, know what I mean?

'I think we are going to find out if we are having a boy or girl because we are so excited and too impatient.

'Everyone asks if you want a boy or girl but the most important thing is that the baby is healthy.'

The excited couple - who got married earlier this year in July - announced the news last month and Marvin admitts while it will be hard to juggle their careers with the new arrival they are both ready to be parents.

He told the Mirror newspaper: 'Obviously we wanted to get married before we started trying. It is a huge responsibility but we are both ready.

'Of course, Rochelle and I are both busy but we have lots of family who can help out. The Saturdays are busy themselves so we are going to have to figure out how we balance the time.'
