Brad Pitt
Brad Pitt won't ask George Clooney for advice on turning 50.
The 48-year-old actor is approaching the milestone age but has no plans to ask his close friend for tips on how to cope when he turns 50 because he believes there is nothing he can learn from George, who turned 51 in May.
He jokingly told the new issue of People magazine: 'He's too old, we live different lives. What can he tell me? Other than how to protect my liver.'
Brad - who raises six kids, Maddox, 11, Pax, eight, Zahara, seven, Shiloh, six, and four-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne, with his fiancee Angelina Jolie - is going to make an important promise to himself when he reaches the big birthday.
The 'Killing Them Softly' star is going to devote as much time as he can to the things he really loves because he realises over half his life is over.
He said: 'This is what I think about it, it's like, 'OK you're way over the midpoint. You don't know how much time you have left. Make sure you enjoy the year more than ever. I want to make sure I'm doing things of value - that mean something to me. Make sure I'm doing things I've always wanted to try. And make sure I'm not doing things I don't want to do. Because I'm very conscious of time, I know it's limited.'
