Marc Anthony to help rebuild orphanage

Marc Anthony will help to rebuild an orphanage in the Dominican Republic.
The generous singer has donated money for the refurbishment and expansion of the Children of Christ orphanage through his Maestro Cares Foundation, which he founded with Colombian concert promoter Henry Cardenas.
The foundation has raised $200,000 which will go towards a new residence hall, classrooms and a baseball field for the orphanage which was founded in 1996 for children who were abused or abandoned and those whose parents were unable to care for them.
Marc attended the groundbreaking ceremony on Friday (23.11.12) with his model girlfriend Shannon de Lima.
Mr. Cardenas previously said the charity's mission is to 'help Latin American children by providing them with healthy and safe environments.'
He added: 'Education is key because it will bring children closer to their dreams. They are our future leaders.'
Marc and Jennifer Lopez announced their seven-year-marriage was over in July 2011 but have remained close for the sake of their four-year-old twins Max and Emme.
A source previously said: 'He's not seeking financial support from her in this divorce. This is about trying to figure out how best for two very busy parents to share their children.'
