Peter Facinelli has moved on from his split with Jennie Garth.

The 'Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2' star - who announced his split from the 40-year-old 'Beverly Hills 90210' actress in March after 11 years of marriage - is rumoured to be dating his 28-year-old former co-star Jaimie Alexander after he was spotted bringing her to a screening of the new vampire movie this week.

A source told People.com: 'She came to the screening a little earlier than him. He arrived with the cast and they took a photo with Ashley Greene. They seemed like they were in a really great mood. She stayed near him at the screening.'

The couple were also photographed having dinner on Thursday (15.11.12) together at The Penny Farthing in New York before the movie at The Cinema Society and were seen at the after-party together.

An insider said: 'Jaimie was at the party all night. They came together, but did the red carpet separately. And then both of them stayed close by one another at the party. Peter also had his family with him.'

Jaimie previously worked alongside 38-year-old Peter - who shares three daughters, Luca, Lola and Fiona with Jennie - on the show 'Nurse Jackie'.

Jennie was briefly linked with 'The Antonio Treatment' star Antonio Ballatore, photographer Noah Abrams and most recently with property expert Jason Clarke after the duo was spotted enjoying a concert at the W Hollywood last month.

But she recently insisted: 'I would rather lick the bottom of my shoe than go on a date. 'The minute I think I'm ready to start dating, then I realise, 'Oh no you're not.' I just don't know how to date.'
