Marvin Humes can't wait to be a dad

Marvin Humes is 'so excited' about becoming a father.

The JLS star - who married Saturdays beauty Rochelle Wiseman in July - is keen to start a family in the next few years and believes the way his wife's bandmate Una Healy has coped with raising her daughter Aoife shows parenthood is compatible with their careers.

The 27-year-old star said: 'I'm so excited about becoming a dad, I can't wait. We're both keen to have a big family. And Una has got Aoife so it shows it can work when you're in a band.

'Hopefully I'll be a dad by the time I'm 30 in three years, or maybe two.'

He expects to be particularly emotional when his first child is born as he is a sensitive person.

He told LOOK magazine: 'I never cry, but I'm emotional in terms of being sensitive, so maybe I will at the birth, like all dads do!'

Marvin believes the key to his successful relationship with Rochelle is mutual 'respect', even though they have their differences.

He added: 'She's feistier than me - I'm the only who calms her down. But that's what works for us. I respect her and she respects me.'
