Rihanna and Chris Brown 'riding high'

Rihanna and Chris Brown are 'riding high' now they are back together.

The singers' reconciliation may be controversial - as they split after Chris beat Rihanna in 2009 - but friends say the fact they have got back together means their feelings have 'stood the test of time.'

A source told Hollywoodlife.com: 'They're riding high right now, you feel me, enjoying they lives and happy to be back in each others arms.

'It's true love and it stood the test of time. You know it's real. It can't be anything else. They done gone through hell and back together and I'm happy for both of them.'

Pals are also confident Chris - who was dating model Karrueche Tran until recently - will not make the same mistakes he did last time with their relationship.

The friend added: 'I know he cares about Ri a lot. Much more than he has cared about any other girl. But they needed some time a part to let s**t calm down and then when the time was right, they heated up that passion. It's just taken over them. They really have something special and he will do right by her this time. I know he will.'

Despite all that has happened between them, Rihanna's father, Ronald Fenty, also insists he would let Chris marry her.

He said: 'Whatever makes her happy. I hope one day she will get married. Everyone adores Chris, he's a super guy.

'The family loved Chris Brown before they met him. I always thought he was extremely talented. He is a good person and always gave me great respect.'
