Tulisa Contostavlos wears slippers on a first date.

The 'Young' singer - who has previously dated 'Skins' actor Jack O'Connell and N-Dubz bandmate Fazer - cannot go out when she wants to get to know someone so tends to invite them round her house where she slobs out.

She said: 'I can't really go on dates in public, so usually the guy would have to come to my house. I wear as little make-up as possible, and a vest top, shorts and a pair of slippers.

'On a first date, a guy sees me for exactly who I am, it's not going to get any worse!'

However, it is different when she knows a guy is going to see her in her underwear, as she will then go all out on looking her best.

She added: 'If I know a guy is going to see me in my underwear, I go over the top. I'm straight off to La Senza for corsets, suspenders, stockings - the whole shebang!'
