Lamar Odom is upset that Khloe Kardashian is focusing on her career rather than starting a family.

The reality TV star has reportedly signed on to co-host 'The X Factor' with Mario Lopez but basketball star Lamar - who is trying to revive his career with the Los Angeles Clippers after a disastrous move to the Dallas Mavericks - is worried she won't have time for him or their attempts to have a baby.

A source said: 'Khloe promised that his career would be the priority. She also agreed they would spend more time together in an attempt to have a baby.

'They've been trying for three years without any luck and Khloe's been gung-ho about alternative methods including IVF.

'But now she is going to be totally consumed with 'The X Factor' and he'll be spending a lot of time on the road with the Clippers. So they'll see less of each other than ever.'

Lamar is hurt that Khloe would put her career before him and friends are worried how it will affect their marriage.

The insider told the National Enquirer: 'Lamar is really hurt and angry. He can't help feeling betrayed by Khloe's decision to spend more time on her career than on his. It's like she's choosing money over love.'
