Aston Merrygold
Aston Merrygold is planning to launch a solo career as a TV presenter in the US.
The JLS singer is believed to have lined up a number of meetings with executives across the Atlantic without his bandmates - Marvin Humes, JB Gill and Oritse Williams - in a bid to kick-start some new work.
He said: 'The boys started off doing bits and pieces for the music TV stations and all really enjoyed it.
'They're all naturals in front of the camera and Aston's impressed a lot of people as a judge on 'Got To Dance'. Management execs in the States believe he could be a star there in his own right.
'He's had a couple of meetings already and people are putting out feelers for him.'
However, he has no plans to leave the band - who rose to fame on the UK 'X Factor' - because singing is 'always his first love'.
The source added to the Daily Mirror newspaper: 'In the meantime, Aston remains very happy with the rest of the boys and he has no intention of quitting the band at all. Singing remains his first love.'
