Kylie Minogue has bared her famous bum for a spoof advert.

The 44-year-old singer appears in the joke video for body insurance by British artist Katerina Jebb, which sees the Australian star walking up a flight of stairs in slow motion wearing a racy, white backless gown which exposes her pert behind.

The voice-over asks: 'Are your assets fully covered? Protect and cover the things that are most dear to you.

'Don't wait until tomorrow. Beautiful Body Of London.'

A logo for fake company Beautiful Body Insurance is seen flashing on screen at the same time.

The 40-second black and white video is called Simulacrum & Hyperbole, which roughly translates as an exaggerated representation of somebody.

The petite pop star has been known for her enviable bottom since her 'Spinning Around' video in 2000, which saw her don a minuscule pair of golden hot pants. Kylie is reportedly so proud of her best asset that she has insured it for $5 million.

The singer has credited body make-up as the secret behind her famously toned bottom in the past, explaining at the time of her 'All The Lovers' video: 'When I knew that I was going to be in tiny hot pants again I was like, 'Cover my legs and bum with body makeup.'

'It's definitely the way forward - and my secret to having a great bottom.'
