Alex Reid can only see his daughter if his ex-fiancee Chantelle Houghton is present.

The cage fighter was dumped by the TV star earlier this month after a series of arguments - one of which resulted in Alex being arrested - and since the separation Chantelle has not allowed him to have any alone time with baby Dolly.

He said: 'Chantelle's said I can see Dolly at any time - but only if she's there.

'I've told her we have to speak about it because I'm going to want to take Dolly. Not away from her, but for a day.

'I want to take her to see my family.'

Alex, 37, also revealed his mother and father are unhappy because they have only met Dolly twice in 13 weeks and don't understand why they can't see their grandchild.

In an interview with Now magazine, he revealed: 'My parents have only seen her twice in 13 weeks. That kills them. I take as many pictures as I can. It's at the point now where they need to see her. It's hurting them.'

Since moving out of the former couple's home, Alex admits he has been missing Dolly badly and spends most of his free time watching videos of the tot and looking at pictures of her.

He said: 'I want to snuggle her and kiss her and eat her. I wanted to bath her the other night.

'Thank God I've got videos of her. I end up looking at them for hours.'

Despite their problems, Alex doesn't want to end up in court with Chantelle to thrash out custody arrangements and is hoping they can 'sort it out without all of that'.

He is also full of praise for the 29-year-old blonde beauty's parenting abilities and is happy to admit she's a good mother.

Alex insisted: 'I have to say she's very good at looking after Dolly. I took a back seat because I didn't want us to fight.

'If someone isn't doing it her way then it isn't right - that caused a lot of arguments.'
