Kanye West was 'practically in tears' when he learned a sex tape featuring him was being shopped for sale.

The 35-year-old singer is seen in a video with a look-a-like of his current girlfriend Kim Kardashian in various compromising positions, and he is said to be very upset that it may be viewed by the general public.

A source told RadarOnline.com: 'The sex tape is being shopped right now and there is a lot of interest, but Kanye is freaking out. He doesn't want this tape out and will do anything to make sure it stays private.

'If this were to hit the market it would be worth a fortune ... there would definitely be a lot of people waiting to see this. Kanye was practically in tears when he heard the tape was being shopped.'

Kanye is seen turning the camera on at the beginning of the film and turns it off at the end.

The pair do not kiss throughout the tape, but the rapper is seen wearing a condom.

It is believed the video was shot before Kanye was with Kim - who herself became famous after her notorious sex tape Ray J.
