Angelina Jolie is 'like a unicorn' to 'Modern Family' star Julie Bowen.

The 42-year-old actress still gets star-struck when she meets certain celebrities and she thinks Angelina is so famous she has taken on an almost mythical status like the horned horse.

In an interview with the new issue of Health magazine, Emmy Award winner Julie gushed: 'If I see Angelina Jolie, I have to look away ... She's like a unicorn. It's like, 'There's Angelina Jolie. We're not going to seriously stand here and pretend it's not like seeing a yeti, right?' '

Despite having an acting career and starring in one of the most popular TV shows in the US, Julie insists she lives a relatively normal life with her husband Scott and their children, Oliver, five, and three-year-old twins, Gus and John.

The 'Horrible Bosses' star likes nothing more than having fun with her kids and when she and software developer Scott want some time together they go to the cinema and ear junk food while watching a movie.

She said: 'We (me and the kids) have a lot of crazy dance parties in the shower. A dance party with three naked children and one fairly naked mother? There's nothing better ... Me and Scott love going to the movies. We get popcorn, Twizzlers and Milk Duds ... We eat like pigs at a trough.'
