Khloe Kardashian top choice to host US X Factor

Simon Cowell has hinted Khloe Kardashian could host the US 'X Factor'.

The music mogul revealed a number of people have auditioned for the role but the 28-year-old reality star was hugely impressive and could get the top job.

Speaking on 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show', he said: 'It could be a Kardashian.

'I think that could work. I'm quite a fan of not putting hosts on this show because I think it's going to give it a different dynamic.

'So we have to find people who have a great chemistry but Khloe is definitely up there.'

Khloe also has the backing of judge Demi Lovato, who would love for her close pal to join the show.

A source told RadarOnline: 'Demi was so excited when she heard Khloe was one of the names in talks for the job.

'She really wants her to be the host because Khloe is one of her best friends and she thinks it'd be so cool if they were working on 'X Factor' together.'

Khloe is said to be the first choice over other contenders including Kelly Osbourne, Mario Lopez and Stacy Keibler in the fight to replace Steve Jones as the host of the show's second season.
