Nick Lachey excited about parenthood

Nick Lachey can't wait to become a dad.

The 'Stars Earn Stripes' star is excited about the impending birth of his first child with wife Vanessa and says he's excited about everything, even changing diapers.

He said: 'I'm not scared of any of it. Everyone says I'm not going to get any sleep but I've slept enough. I'm ready to take it all on. It's going to be a once in a lifetime experience so I just want to relish every piece of it. Even diapers.'

However, Nick admitted he is nervous.

He said: 'It's kind of nerve-wrecking but I'm more excited than anything. We've gone through this whole long process and now I just want to see my son, to hold him and kiss him and get to know him.'

Nick has also made sure he is doing everything he can to keep Vanessa comfortable as the birth approaches.

He told In Touch Weekly magazine: 'I've been doing a lot of errands and making a lot of trips to the grocery story. And of course I've been giving her a lot of foot rubs and back massages. Pretty much anything I can do to make her comfortable.'
