Kim Kardashian has purchased a $100,000 self-flushing toilet.

The 31-year-old star - who is currently dating Kanye West - is so concerned people who use the facilities in her home will not flush, she has purchased a toilet which does it itself, meaning she does not have to worry.

A source told the National Enquirer magazine: 'Kim is terrified of people using her potty and forgetting to flush and loves that she'll be the first girl on the block with a toilet pricier than most houses!'

Kim is not the only celebrity to worry about toilet usage - Jennifer Lopez takes her own seat everywhere to ensure a germ-free bathroom experience.

A source said recently: 'Jennifer is a clean-freak and doesn't like putting her bum on any toilet unless it's on her own custom-made seat. It's a cover made to fit any loo.'

And in 2003, Jennifer's then-boyfriend Ben Affleck shelled out $105,000 on a gem-studded toilet seat, featuring rubies, sapphires, pearls and a diamond.

A source said: 'The stones are set inside the plastic, so Jennifer's behind won't get scratched.'
