Everyone makes mistakes, and owning up to them and taking responsibility is the right thing to do.
Except in the world of 'Twilight' stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, who are each suffering the shame of the public knowledge of a short affair, the media and fans seem to want to dictate the fallout of two seemingly solid separate couples who are trying to mend a wrong.
Us Weekly went public on July 24 with photos of Kristen Stewart engaging in some steamy moments with her Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders. The married director's wife so far has not made any statements, yet deleted her Twitter account as the news spread of his affair.
It was widely believed that Robert Pattinson was to marry Kristen Stewart.
Meanwhile Liberty Ross and the director's two children are laying low, after the director publicly apologized to them for his actions.
Many false reports are surfacing of alleged interviews that were conducted by Aussie radio station B105 (Brisbane, Australia), claiming an exclusive with Liberty Ross. No such interview took place.
Us Weekly, who broke the story, contends that a "devastated" Pattinson is also laying low and hiding out.
