Liberty Ross and Robert Pattinson, should they forgive and forget?

A highly embarrassing tryst between a star and her director has upended the lives of the director's wife and children, as well as the love interest of the star who has been with her for several years.

Twilight star Kristen Stewart apologized for the leaked dalliance with 'Snow White and the Huntsman' director Rupert Sanders, first reported by UsWeekly. The 22-year-old actress was seen making out with her “Snow White” director Rupert Sanders, 41.

Liberty Ross used one word to describe her thoughts about husband Rupert Sanders' affair with Kristen Stewart: "Wow," which she tweeted July 24, just moments after Us Weekly called her director husband's people for comment.

Not much is known about Ross, a beautiful 33-year-old model and mother-of-two who was cast as a young Stewart's mother in Snow White and the Huntsman.

Ross had posted a Marilyn Monroe quote from the Women of History account on her Twitter prior to the "wow" comment. It read, "Sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together."  Ross has since deactivated her Twitter account.

Now both Kristen Stewart and Rupert Sanders are apologizing for their passionate moments caught by tabloid photographers.

Sanders says, “I am utterly distraught about the pain I have caused my family.”

“My beautiful wife and heavenly children are all I have in this world. I love them with all my heart. I am praying that we can get through this together,” says Sanders in his statement to People.

His statement was released shortly after Stewart’s own apology to her boyfriend, Robert Pattinson, whom she called “the person I love and respect most,” and to whom she was “deeply sorry.”

In a statement to People magazine, Kristen Stewart said:

"I'm deeply sorry for the hurt and embarrassment I've caused to those close to me and everyone this has affected. This momentary indiscretion has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him, I love him, I'm so sorry."

Stewart has been in a relationship with Pattinson, 26, since the two met on the set of the first “Twilight” film.

Stewart and Pattinson's relationship so far appears to be the same, and the “Snow White” sequel is moving forward with both Stewart and Sanders attached.
