Jesse James would walk through fire for kids
Jesse James would 'walk through fire' for his children.
The ex-husband of actress Sandra Bullock continues to battle over the custody of his daughter Sunny and appeared in a courthouse on Friday (20.07.12) for a final hearing of a custody trial.
Even though Jesse won full guardianship of the little girl in 2009 from ex-wife Janine Lindemulder, who spent time in federal prison for tax evasion, he was present at a necessary final hearing.
Jesse tweeted along with a photo of court papers: 'Sitting in court today is a reminder that being a dad isn't always making the easy decisions, but making the ones that are right for the long haul.'
He added: 'There is no doubt in my mind that I would walk through fire for my kids. My lifelong mission is to guarantee that they are happy, healthy and safe.'
Four months ago Jesse let his eight-year-old child tattoo her name on his wrist and proudly released out a photograph.
Jesse - who has children Chandler, 16, Jesse Jr., 17, from previous relationships - said earlier this year that he is better person.
He shared: 'I think I'm in a pretty awesome place in life.
'In light of everything that's happened, I think I came out of it a better dad and a better person while living and working in a place that's like heaven to me.'
