Michael Clarke Duncan is in intensive care after suffering a heart attack.
The 54-year-old actor - who starred as convict John Coffey in 1999 prison drama 'The Green Mile' alongside Tom Hanks - was rushed to a Los Angeles hospital this morning (13.07.12) after being discovered by his girlfriend Omarosa Stallworth.
According to TMZ, Omarosa - who has been dating the actor since 2010 - is said to have performed CPR and resuscitated him after finding him in a state of cardiac arrest around 2am.
Sources told the publication that his heart rate is now stable and doctors are performing tests. Omarosa is understood to be by his bedside.
Michael's appearance in 'The Green Mile' saw him nominated for a host of accolades including an Academy Award and a Golden Globe, both for Best Supporting Actor, as well as Screen Actors Guild Award nomination for Outstanding Performance By a Male Actor in a Supporting Role.
Since 'The Green Mile', Michael has gone on to star in numerous motion pictures including 'The Whole Nine Yards', 'Planet of the Apes', 'The Scorpion King' and 'Kung Fu Panda'.
