Snooki: my fiance looks after me 'like a parent'

Snooki says her fiance Jionni LaValle takes care of her 'like a parent'.

The 'Jersey Shore' star - who is living at home with her mother and father in New Jersey - is expecting a baby boy in September with Jionni and she thinks he is the perfect father-to-be because he already dotes on her.

Snooki - real name Nicole Polizzi - told Us Weekly magazine: 'He takes care of me like a parent, and that's what I need. The other day he told me to clean up around the house and I was like, 'OK, dad.'

'This morning he made me a to-go oatmeal thing with a note: This is for Junior. Eat up. Love you.'

The 24-year-old reality star is famous for her love of partying and wild antics, but since discovering she is to become a mother she finally feels ready to settle down and get serious.

Snooki said: 'I don't regret my partying or getting blacked out. It was awesome! But now it's time to be a parent.'

She recently admitted she had given up her main vices, drinking and tanning, in order to have a healthy pregnancy, but has refused to ditch her high heels.

She said: 'I'm only 24 and I'm pregnant - it doesn't mean I need to be wearing flats and ugly shoes. I can still look good.'
