Jenna Jameson charged with DUI

Jenna Jameson has been charged with driving under the influence (DUI) of drugs and alcohol.

The former porn actress has been formally booked with two counts of DUI and one count of driving without a valid license after crashing her car into a lamppost in Orange County, California, last month.

Jenna was arrested following the incident on May 25 when she was asked to take a field sobriety test after showing signs of intoxication.

According to law enforcement officials, the busty blonde star showed a reading of .13 and was found to have two prescription drugs in her system at the time of her arrest, zolpidem (Ambien) and buprenorphine (Suboxone).

Police said at the time that Jenna had suffered minor injuries but declined medical treatment, tearfully saying: 'I just want to go home.'

A call to emergency services to report the incident was made from a woman who claimed she had seen 38-year-old Jenna driving erratically before hitting the lamppost with her Range Rover.

The woman said in the call: 'I was actually getting ready to call you guys because she was drunk. Next thing I know she went into the pole.'

The caller asked Jenna if she needed paramedics, to which she replied, 'No, I just want to go.'

If convicted on all three charges, Jenna faces up to a year in jail.
