Elizabeth Hurley had the 'most romantic' birthday on Sunday (10.06.12).

The 'Gossip Girl' actress turned 47 at the weekend and she enjoyed a 'sublime' dinner with her fiance Shane Warne as they spent time at top chef Raymond Blanc's Le Manoir aux Quatre Saisons hotel and restaurant in Oxford, South England.

She wrote on twitter: 'I had the most romantic birthday night at Le Manoir aux Quatre Saisons in Oxfordshire. The food was sublime and the room divine. (sic)'

The retired Australian cricketer showered Elizabeth with birthday treats over the weekend and she later rewarded her 'hero' with a massage after the 42-year-old sportsman injured his shoulder playing cricket in a school match.

She tweeted: 'About to give @warne888 a massage-the Big Blonde's shoulder's sore after bowling at a school cricket match yesterday......my hero (sic)'

But Shane was eager for more than a shoulder massage after treating Elizabeth to a 'special' birthday weekend.

Responding to her tweet, he wrote on his twitter account: '@ElizabethHurley Only a massage for your birthday treats and special weekend ? Surely a cuddle too xxx (sic)'

Shane seemed to enjoy Elizabeth's birthday weekend as much as the brunette beauty as after his massage he admitted he is 'always' smiling.

He tweeted: 'Hahhahahahaahahah, be happy everyone & always have a laugh !!!! Keep smiling - I am (sic)'.
