Billy Joel has put his Miami Beach mansion on the market for $14.75 million.
The 'Uptown Girl' hitmaker - who turned 63 today (09.05.12) - has listed his beachfront Florida pad on La Gorce Island for $1 million more than he paid for it in February 2006.
The house contains seven bedrooms and eight bathrooms and boasts picturesque views over the Biscayne Bay, which is also visible from the large outdoor swimming pool surrounded by palm trees.
As well as being based in a secure neighbourhood, Billy's mansion features a courtyard containing a fountain and palm trees leading up to the massive glass front door.
The Mediterranean Revival mansion - which was constructed in 2004 - contains French doors, a big fireplace, a sweeping staircase and a foyer as well as a kitchen and wine cellar, according to the Real Estalker blog.
A number of high profile stars are said to have lived on La Gorce Island including Colombian singing sensation Shakira, late Bee Gees star Maurice Gibb and 'Lollipop' rapper Lil' Wayne, who leased a huge waterfront abode that was listed for sale at $13.9 million last year.
