Kelsey Grammer’s ex-wife Camille came out in response to her ex husband's remarks when she was cast in “The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills.”
Camille went on record that it was the “worst year” of her life.
Kelsey went to star in the Tony-winning New York City based play “La Cage Aux Folles” in 2010, leaving his then-wife, Camille, behind as she prepared for a starring role in the reality TV series in Los Angeles.
Kelsey Grammer reportedly broke up with her over the phone later that year.
Camille, who recently announced her decision to leave the show after just two seasons, put the blame on Kelsey for encouraging her to take part in the real-life drama while battling to save their marriage.
She tells Good Morning America:
“The first season was horrible because they were filming me during the worst year of my whole life. My whole life was falling apart. My husband left me, he was having an affair with another woman in New York City, while I’m filming a reality show. I mean it doesn’t get worse than that.
Now things have gotten worse as her boyfriend Dimitri Charalambopoulos' ex partner laid a trap with Grammer, recording her unknowingly.
According to RadarOnline.com, the mother of Dimitri Charalambopoulos' child, ex-girlfriend Lisa Chynoweth, recorded and threatened Camille in a bizarre phone call.
Camille reportedly threatened Lisa with lawyers and public embarrassment as she tried to protect her privacy. Radar reports that Lisa called Camille and recorded a four hour conversation Grammer had no idea was being taped.
During the taped recording, Grammer reportedly says: 'If you go to the press, I have lawyers that are beyond what you can imagine and they will pull stuff on you and you will be so mortified about your life and your family and what you have done. You don't want to do that to Marcus [her son].'
Her boyfriend Dimitri is in a nasty custody battle over his young son and he has a temporary restraining order against his ex because she allegedly leaked a private video deposition tape where Lisa Chynoweth allegedly played 'gotcha' with the recorded tape that had been allegedly edited in excerpts, presented out of context during the deposition proceedings.
When Lisa's attorney asks Dimitri if he thinks it's okay that Camille threatens his ex and his son, he replies, 'I'm not going to answer that because I didn't hear the rest of the conversation and I don't want to hear the whole conversation...I didn't hear a threat and I don't know what that conversation was about and it was a little snippet and that has absolutely nothing to do with this...I didn't hear a threat, it sounded more like a rebuttal.'
Camille told Good Morning America's guest correspondent Katie Couric yesterday that she left her Bravo reality show after just two seasons in order to regain her privacy in relation to her boyfriend and children.
