Kelly Brook: Miscarriage has changed my life

Kelly Brook
Kelly Brook has 'changed her life dramatically' since she suffered a miscarriage last year.
The 31-year-old actress lost the baby girl she was expecting with rugby player Thom Evans in May 2011, and she admits the shock of the tragedy made her stop living such a hectic lifestyle.
She said: 'My miscarriage was a hard lesson. Before I fell pregnant, I'd been living the life of a 22-year-old - going to clubs, working hard and flying to a different country every two weeks.
'When I first fell pregnant, I still thought I could run around and do whatever I wanted, but my body let me know that wasn't the case. When I miscarried, I was devastated.
'It was the hardest lesson but, ultimately, a good one. I'd been running on adrenalin believing I was invincible - like so many of us do. Since the miscarriage, I've changed my life dramatically.'
Kelly explained she now makes a conscious effort to exercise more and eat healthily, as she is keen to try for a child again in the near future.
She added in an interview with Top Sante magazine: 'I've reduced my workload and I'm eating more healthily and exercising more.
'I don't want to leave it much longer before having children and if I was to fall pregnant now, I'd feel ready.'
