LeAnn Rimes
LeAnn Rimes is in talks to become a judge on the US version of 'The X Factor'.
The 'Can't Fight the Moonlight' singer's husband Eddie Cibrian confirmed the negotiations, and thinks she would be 'unbelievable' on the panel of the show alongside Simon Cowell and L.A. Reid.
He told TV show 'Extra': 'They've been talking. I think she would be unbelievable on a show like that. Plus she can sing.'
Among the other names thought to be in talks for the series - and replacing Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger, who were axed after the first run - are George Clooney's girlfriend Stacy Keibler and pop star Britney Spears, who is reportedly holding out for a huge pay-out to take part.
A source said: 'Money is not an issue for the show. As of now, they are looking to pay her $12-15 million for the first season, with a drastic price hike for a second year based on ratings performance.
'Simon Cowell wants at least a two-year commitment and Britney wants an out clause if she doesn't want to continue after one year of service.'
Simon is also keen for British singer Adele - who picked up six Grammy Awards earlier this year - to take part.
A source added: 'Simon is always looking for new directions and ideas. He thinks Adele's success and achievements are incredible.'
