Jennifer Lawrence emails Kristen Stewart over 'feud' rumours

Jennifer Lawrence has emailed Kristen Stewart over feud rumours.

As the lead in the forthcoming 'Hunger Games' franchise, the 21-year-old actress was reported to be at war with 'Twilight Saga' star Kristin, also 21.

But after reading one false story too many, Jennifer decided to contact Kristen and clear the matter up once and for all.

She said: 'I wrote her an email, because there was this huge like, article about a 'Twilight' and 'Hunger Games' feud, and we've never met before and never spoken.

'There were all these like, fake quotes from me that were actually hilarious. Some of them were from my 'pal' and 'sources'. It was hilarious. When I was reading it, I was cracking up.

'Then I was like, 'Oh my god. If she reads this, she's going to think - what if she thinks it's true?' I just shot her an e-mail, and was like, 'Hey, can't wait to see more as this feud unfolds!''

The notoriously private Kristen - who is dating her 'Twilight' co-star Robert Pattinson - quickly replied and confirmed there are no bad feelings.

Jennifer told Access Hollywood: 'She wrote me back, and she was like, 'It's fine. Welcome to the world where everything you say gets turned into [something it's not]'. So, she understood.'
