Lily Collins and Kristen Stewart 'laugh' about their Snow White 'rivalry'

Lily, 22, plays the fairytale heroine in new movie 'Mirror Mirror', while 21-year-old Kristen gives the classic story a darker twist as the lead in 'Snow White and the Huntsman'.

But contrary to reports, Lily - who is the daughter of musician Phil Collins - insists there is no competition between the two films or their stars.

She said: 'It's funny, I mean, they are so different, they couldn't be more different.

'Kristen and I have laughed about the fact that we're apparently 'rivals'. And it's just funny to us. I'm excited for her and that version is so utterly different than ours.'

Talking to Access Hollywood, she explains that the two films both put a completely different spin on the tale.

She added: 'I think that people are going to get different things out of each one.

'There's always two sides to a story, so it's interesting to see two different versions. [Mine] is more of like a comedic adventure, [and hers is] more edgy and dark.'

'Mirror Mirror' is scheduled for release later this month, while 'Snow White and the Huntsman' will hit screens it June.
